How to add/edit/delete brand?

Add new brand

NOTE: In this section is described manual adding brands of stand-alone application. In case of integration application with ERP, this process will be automatic.

Admin User has an option to add new brand by choosing menu Catalogue/Brands/Add new. Fields in this form are:

• Brand Name - Name of the brand.
• Permalink - Slug for brand.
• Brand Code - Unique number for brand.
• Visible - Button for visibility of brand.
• Upload image - Field for uploading a brand logo.

Each brand can be added to one or more products. By clicking on button Save, new brand is shown in the list of all brands, and the page for editing created brand opens.

All brands

By choosing menu Catalogue/Brands/All, the list of all brands is shown. Admin has an option for advanced search and sorting by ID and Brand Name. Also, Admin User can choose how many brands he/she wants to view per page (10, 20, or 30 brands).

Delete brand

Admin User can delete brands. It can be done one by one, but also by selecting multiple brands and clicking on button for delete in the bottom of the page.

Edit brand

Admin can edit brands by clicking on button for editing in the last column of the table for certain brand in the list.

Basic info

After adding a new brand and clicking on button Save, or by clicking on button for editing in the list of all brands, Edit Brand page opens. There are new fields on this page:

• Seo title
• Seo description
• Seo keywords

Translations

Admin User can translate brand name into offered languages.

Import/Export brands

Admin User has an option to import brands by choosing menu Catalogue/Brands/Import. After uploading appropriate CSV file, and by clicking on button Import, new brands are imported. Also, Admin User can upload ZIP file with brand's images.

IMPORTANT: For successful upload of the ZIP file, the image name should be identical as brand name.

Admin User has an option to export brands by clicking menu Catalogue/Brands/Export. With that action, admin user gets a CSV file with exported brands.

Brand order

Admin User can drag brands to reorder them. The reordered brands can be shown in filters on Category page.
