How to add/edit/delete languages?
Add new language
By clicking the menu Preferences/Languages Admin User can see two sections:
- Add new language - To add new language, Admin User have to fill the Name and Locale fields, choose Contries and Flag, upload appropriate YML file and he/she can enable or disable that language.
- Available language - Admin User can see all available languages and edit or delete language by clicking on the icon on the right side.
By clicking on button Save, language will automatically be loaded on the frontend for customers to choose.
Also, on this page are setting for generating tranlations for the selected entities:
Edit language
By clicking on the Edit icon opens the form where admin user can change the Name, Locale, Contries, Flag, Availability. Also can search or delete words and add new words with translations.
Admin User can edit the tranlation for certain key, by clicking on the value:
After editing or deleting the values, click on button Save to save changes.
Delete language
By clicking on the icon for delete, the language will be deleted.
IMPORTANT: Default language should not be deleted.
